We are looking for compassionate and empathetic Patient Attendants for Psychiatric/Behavioral Health Hospitals in Weston, WV. No prior experience is required, making this a great opportunity for individuals starting their careers. We also have a limited number of managerial and supervisory positions available, which do require some experience, but these roles provide room for growth from the Patient Attendant position.
To qualify for this position, you must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Direct care experience, customer service skills, and leadership abilities are considered a plus!
The responsibilities of Patient Attendants include observing patients, reporting and documenting information, interacting with patients, supervising patient movement, and assisting nursing staff during emergency situations. The opportunities for advancement into managerial and supervisory roles, involve additional responsibilities such as managing scheduling, breaks, call-offs, conducting interviews, and handling timesheets.
