Position Overview:
We have contracts available for a full-time CNA (or CMA) contract at a Long-Term Care (LTC) facility in St. Edward, Nebraska. This is an excellent opportunity for local CNAs and those looking to travel and experience a new community. Position Details:
- Job Title: Full-Time CNA (or CMA) Contract
- Location: St. Edward, NE
- Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (with a 30-minute lunch break)
- Schedule: Every other weekend rotation
- Hours: 34.5-37.5 hours per week
- Length: 6-8 weeks (option to extend)
- Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, direct care to residents of the LTC facility
- Monitor and report any health changes to the LPN or RN
- Regularly document patient progress and vital signs
- Ensure compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures in place
- Work independently while maintaining a collaborative team dynamic
Requirements:
- A valid Nebraska CNA certification
- A minimum of 1 year of direct care experience, preferably in long-term care settings
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cohesive team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screening prior to start
- A clear criminal background check (no felonies; previous charges will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
- Clear Nebraska APS/CPS self-check
- Valid driver’s license
