Position Overview

Pay Rate: $42/hr (local, all taxed) or $44/hr (blended travel rate)
Contract Length: 26 weeks

Job Duties

As a Psych LPN/LVN, you’ll play an essential role in patient care and daily operations. Responsibilities include:

Administering medications and treatments orally, rectally, internally, or by injection
Performing patient assessments and maintaining accurate documentation
Charting observations and reporting pertinent information to the care team
Managing individual medical records in the facility’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) or paper chart
Assisting with repositioning and treatment care
Supporting long-term care (LTC) duties as assigned

Schedule

Available Shifts: 6 AM – 2 PM and 2 PM – 10 PM
Candidates must be open to both shifts

Requirements

To qualify for this opportunity, you must have:

An active LVN/LPN license in good standing in the state of Texas
At least 1 year of experience as an LVN/LPN (psychiatric or behavioral health preferred)
Experience in hospital acute care, LTC, community clinics, or public health settings Note: Home Health or School Nurse experience does not meet facility requirements.
No past misdemeanors or disciplinary actions on your nursing license
