Position: Psych LPN

As a Psych LPN, you will be working in a supportive and collaborative environment, providing care to patients in a psychiatric setting. This is a great chance to join a team of healthcare professionals committed to improving mental health care.

Location: Larned, Kansas
Pay Rate: $49/hour for local nurses or $52/hour for blended travel rate (if you’re coming from 50+ miles away)
Overtime: Paid at 1.5x your hourly rate
Shift: 12-hour shifts (must be open to both days or nights – most new contractors will be placed on the night shift)
Length of Assignment: 17 weeks (4 weeks for orientation/training, followed by 13 weeks of independent work, with potential extensions up to 6 months)

Key Details About the Role in Larned, Kansas

Orientation: This essential training lasts for four weeks and takes place during business hours. It is crucial to attend all orientation sessions as they are necessary for a smooth transition into the role. Orientation groups start approximately twice per month.
Mandation: Please note that mandation to work additional hours is possible based on the needs of the facility.

Requirements:

To qualify for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

Hold a Kansas or multistate LPN license
Have at least 1 year of LPN experience, ideally in psychiatric, corrections, long-term care, or medical-surgical settings
Pass a 10-panel drug screen and alcohol screen prior to starting
Complete a criminal background check and an adult/child protective services check (Note: no felony convictions allowed)
Provide a valid driver’s license
Provide a negative TB test or chest X-ray (which the employer will provide)
